We have a wide range of classes at Northwest Pilates & Yoga Center catering for all abilities and needs. We recommend a minimum of two sessions per week to see and feel the benefits and pricing is structured to help you achieve this level of attendance.

Please choose from the following streams:
BEGINNER: Join our Pilates starter package to start you on the right track. These 4-week courses are designed to progress the beginner through the correct technique of pilates and gain confidence in the essential exercises on all our pilates equipment. Watch a sample class.
PILATES ENTHUSIAST: If you have taken Pilates before join our Level 1 or 2 classes on the timetable including Matwork, Tower, and Reformer. Click on the classes below to read a description and book yourself on. If you have never done any equipment classes before please join our Tower classes or attend a private session before attending an equipment or reformer class. Watch a sample class.
BACKCARE: If you are suffering from injury or pain then join our Backcare class or book a consultation with our one of our team. If you are Antenatal or post natal we have classes suitable for you and advise you to attend a consultation before attending a specific class. PERFORMANCE & SPORTS SPECIFIC: One of the misconceptions in the sports world is that a sports person gets in shape by just playing or taking part in his/her chosen sport. If a stationary level of performance, consistent ability in executing a few limited skills is your goal, then engaging only in your sport will keep you there.
However, if you want the utmost efficiency, consistent improvement, and balanced abilities sportsmen and women must participate in year round conditioning programs.Wish to improve your balance and flexibility and improve your injury Recovery and injury prevention rate. Watch a sample class.
YOGA FLOW:Yoga flow classes are held at the St.Helens United Reform Church every Wednesday 6.30-8.00pm,cost £7 and Thursday 6.30-7.30pm ,cost £5.As the venue is separate from the studio ,you pay directly to the teacher at the class. Watch a sample class.
Nordic Walking: Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking - it makes something we can all do.... twice as effective! Nordic Walking uses poles to in order to add two major benefits to walking Nordic Walking is the fastest growing fitness activity in the world and is used by individuals, personal trainers, health clubs, physiotherapists, doctors and health promoters because it is highly effective, affordable and FUN!
• The use of poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs
• The poles help to propel the walker along - this means he/she works harder than usual yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier! Watch a video of Nordic Walking.
Spinal Revolution “A Breakthrough In Back Science”:
The thoracic spine is built for rotation, flexion, and extension. It is highly mobile – or, rather, it has the potential for lots of mobility. Because of its mobility, the thoracic spine must be used, must be moved. But it has to be known. If people are unable to visualize and feel the movement of the thoracic spine, or if they’re unable to even grasp the concept of its existence, they’ll just attempt to twist, rotate, flex, and bend with something familiar to them: the lumbar spine. That’s bad news. A movement system that gently works the entire body opening energy pathways through rhythmic, spiraling movements. Fluid movements that feel like dance are smoothly and harmoniously connected through the use of breath, utilizing low stools and mats. All fitness levels, from novice to professional, can benefit from this system.
