"I have been attending Pilates classes in St Helens for a number of years now. I originally started at the Claughton Street premises, before moving to the new studio and now attend the recently refurbished studio in Claughton Street. The Pilates class is taught by Nisha, an extremely experienced professional and because the groups and so small everyone receives individual attention. The work is challenging but enjoyable. I started Pilates due to a back problem but feel this form of exercise has relieved the problems and find I struggle when I miss a class." - Client Margaret Concannon

Entrance Assessment

The most effective introduction for any beginner pilates or advanced pilates client to STOTT PILATES is through an entrance assessment. An entrance assessment is a private training session. The trainer begins by doing a postural analysis which takes 10 - 15 minutes and permits the trainer to create a postural profile which allows future workouts at Northwest Pilates to be tailored to your characteristics.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. The word Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement." In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes also called Yoga Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
